A transparent tank is installed on both sides of the glass display case. A mixture of antifreeze and water alternately fills each side of the display case. While one side fills with liquid, the other side empties. At night, the antifreeze fluid fluoresces, creating a gradually varying colour range from glowing green to dark green.
