Water and air bubbles move in seven spiral-shaped circuits, each 350 to 500 metres long. The water is coloured with fine coal dust, with shades ranging from anthracite grey to black. The flow movement in all spirals is directed from the edge to the centre, creating the impression of a suction effect.
